Summer Fun!!

Today Addy Ashe and my two nieces, Cady and Caylie, came over for some summer water fun. They all had a blast!!! Loghan and Addy swallowed down some yummy fruit rollups and played non-stop. Avery just hung out watching all the kids run around screaming.

Avery will be 7 weeks old this coming Friday and it just doesn't seem possible. She is growing and changing so much! She has started to smile and develop her own little personality. I do think she has a little more of her mothers...let's call it spunk...in her. :)

Finally updating

It has been quite a long time since I have updated this. We have been very busy and I have had no time to make it downstairs to the computer. We had our little girl Avery Rae at 9:03pm on June 5th. It was a very quick delivery with zero pain meds. When I say quick I mean, walking into the hospital at 8:15 and having her less than an hour later. There was no time for meds or even to hook up an IV. We came home from the hospital not even 24 hours later. I am amazed at how easy having two has been. I am not saying it doesn't come with it's own challenges, mainly having a busy 2 year old as well, but it has been a pretty easy transition so far. Hopefully everything will remain easy going to keep me sain. I get to stay off work until Aug 31st, so I am looking forward to spending the next couple months with my family and catching up with friends. I want to thank everyone for their special gifts they gave our new addition and for the good freinds that brought our family dinners. We really appreciate yo all!

HOORAYYY for GAVIN!!!

It is official Gavin was selected to be the next reserve hired on full-time! We are very excited and it can't come at any better timing. We have the new baby on the way, and with my maternity leave from work it will be nice to have at least one steady paycheck while I am off. Gavin is playing it cool of course. You can tell he is excited, but also keeping his cool and continuing to get the job done. He has been on the fire department for 4 years now, so we can't be any happier. Thank you to everyone that has called and congratulated him. You are all right, IT IS ABOUT TIME!!! Congrats Gavin! Loghan and I are so proud of you!

Even longer!

I finally have time to get on here and give an update. I have been so busy with house projects and working I hardly have time to get on the internet unless it's from my phone. We finally finished the kitchen...Well sort of. We put in new floors, countertops, sink, faucet and tiled backsplash. Now the floor just needs the trim down. We also FINALLY got new doors for upstairs. No more holes....except for where the doorknobs are supposed to be...That's another story.... We also have gotten the upstairs bathroom sheetrocked and I am in the finals stages of painting then comes new countertops, light fixture and sink.
I have also been trying to learn GIRL. Gavin and I are about 10 weeks away from having a little girl and I am so unprepared. It is hard when for the past 2 1/2 years everything is Seahawks, WSU and Trucks to think of pink, and ruffled dresses. I have been very fortunate that I haven't had to wear maternity clothes. I really haven't gotten that big...yet.

Informed it has been a while!

I was informed tonight by Randi, that it had been forever since I had updated this. So I thought I better do it. Gavin and I have been very busy lately. We both have been working a lot and trying to get ready for the holidays. I made my sister some JOY letters from Crop Paper Scissors. I think they turned out pretty cute. They are pretty simple, just like Cami. We have decorated for Christmas, thanks to Gav the tree was up before Thanksgiving...Don't ask! I am about 3/4 done with my shopping and can't wait for that part to be over. On the bright side the doctor I work for is taking the whole week of Christmas off, so I can work whenever I want, for as long as I want. :)

My mom is having surgery on her back tomorrow to repair a ruptured disc, so please keep her in mind. My grandparents are coming back into town to stay with her for the first few days of surgery while my dad is at work. We have a busy week ahead of us. Mom's surgery Monday, my 2nd OB appointment Tuesday, 14 weeks has gone by so fast.... Saturday is the A-shift Christmas party and hopefully Sunday we can rest. If I don't update this before the Holiday, which I probably won't, Have a very Merry Christmas everyone!!!

Finally!!!!! I got Loghan's photos that we had done by Michelle today!!! They are so awesome!! It is hard to choose what one is my favorite. I am excited to get them printed up and put up so everyone can view them.

I am also excited because this weekend is a girls scrapping weekend. A few of us are going over to Randi's and are going to scrap all weekend. I have some catching up to do with my scrap book so it will be good for me. I can't wait!

Loghan's 2!!!!

Loghan turned 2 on September 25th, but we waited until today to do his birthday party. We had lots of friends and family over. All of the kids had fun playing together. I can't believe that he is already 2. Time flies so fast. Christel and Richie brought baby Layla by and looking at her made me remember when Loghan was that small. It doesn't seem that long ago. I am glad that we have the friends and family we do. Everyone that came tonight is basically family. I feel very fortunate, not only for myself, but for Loghan as well. It will be fun to watch him and all of his little friends grow into who they will become.

On another note, Gavin and I FINALLY have a day off together!!! YEAH!!!! It has been probably almost 2 months since we had a day off together. Gavin has been working over 20 days a month at the fire department. That is alot when they are 24hr shifts!!! I am glad he is home for a day and maybe we can have some time together as a family and we may even get to catch up with friends!!
