Ice Blocking

Today we went ice blocking. Gavin has never gone. I have never laughed so hard as I did with him. The Ashe girls just seem to fly down the hill on the ice blocks and Gavin-well he made it about 3/4 of the way down the hill before doing a backwards sumersalt (sp?). Randi and I tried it and she was way better than me.

Loghan's Big Boy Room

As I said previously, Loghan wanted a WSU room. While we out and about today we stopped and bought some paint so that I could at least get started on his room. He loves WSU( well football in general) and he loves planes. So I found the perfect thing on the internet to put it all together. Now this is just the start of his room. I still have a stripe to paint around the entire thing and then I somehow have to convince him to sleep in the new room. He love the "puh-plane" as he calls it. I also need to find some planes to hang from the ceiling. If anyone knows of where I can get some cute "rusticish" planes let me know. Well we are off to get ready to go ice blocking for the first time in years. I hope Gavin doesn't break any bones, he is not always the most coordinated. :)

Water works!

Gavin and Loghan are so funny together! Gavin was out watering the lawn and Loghan stole the nozel and started spraying Gav. Loghan was so proud of himself! He loved spraying Gavin.

Today Loghan and I met up with Danielle and Jace for a day at the park. The boys really enjoyed the slides and ducks. I am getting ready to re-do Loghan's big boy room. He chose to do his room in WSU decor. We were walking around the store and he saw the WSU rugs and bedding and said "this room, in here." as he pointed to the cart. Since this has been a 2 week battle on finding him bug boy stuff, I gave in and bought some. Now just to get the motivation to do all of the painting. I still have trim work and touch up to do around the house and haven't found the "want" to do that either.

This may be fun!

It seems like everyone I know is getting a blog....So I thought that maybe it would be nice for my family and friends from out of town to be able to keep up with my family. A little history on me is: I am now 25! It was a hard one I must admit. I can't believe that I am half way to 50! I went to LCSC and recieved a degree in Medical Office and have been at Tri-State Hospital for the last 5 years. My parents and sister still live in the valley. I have 2 beautiful nieces that always can make me laugh. I am married to the most amazing man. He is my rock.... I love him so much and can't wait to see what comes our way in the future. Gavin works for the Lewiston Fire Department, and the Asotin County Fire Department as a EMT/Firefighter. He loves his job and in a lot of ways I am envious of that. We have a son, Loghan, who is the most precious thing on earth. (But as all you other parents know we always have a soft spot for our own.) He amazes me everyday, and there is nothing that I could love more. Loghan will be 2 in September which seems totally unreal. We have just recently sold our 1st home, and upgraded to a great new place. It didn't look like much when we first bought it, but slowly it is turning into a HOME. Between Gav working many hours at the fire stations and me embarking on a new venture at the hospital, it seems we have little time to do anything else. However, when we can we enjoy camping, fishing, and just spending time as a family as well as with our family and friends. We recently were able to make it to Huckelberry Camprground, for the first time as a family, two weeks ago. We enjoyed seeing my grandparents, auent and uncle, sister and her family and my mom and dad. Gav really enjoyed taking the plontoon boats out with the boys to do a little fishing.

Some food for thought: No matter how hard life gets, we always have to look at what we have and apprecitate it for being as perfect as it is.
